During our stay in Ubud for a few days we discovered this little gem after our rafting trip with Mason Adventures. The Japanese decor and theme was a refreshing change to the usual Balinese-inspired places on the island, and we had one of the best massages that I can ever remember. We came back two days later for some whole body experiences, which were also amazing. Was more pricey than most spas in Bali, but without a doubt one of the best spas in Bali, and will definitely be back on our next trip!

This team is professional, compassionate, friendly and engaging which makes the 1 hour commute completely worth while. They have top of the line service and the best spa products around. The services are well priced and the atmosphere is very tranquil and relaxing.
This is a serene and spotless spa with very knowledgeable and professional personnel. I tried most of the services the spa offers, and by comparison with other places that offer aesthetics treatments, I found Shinto Spa to provide a better quality service for the price charged.
Not to mention that the rest of the staff proved to be not only skilled, but most courtenous and genuine interested in client’s satsfaction.

Spa treat - I booked this for my birthday as a treat. I booked a 2.5 hours package. We got picked up and dropped back at hotel included. We arrived at the spa... read more and I am impressed very nice all Japanese setting. We are given our welcome drink and a cold hand towel then asked to put they slippers on and taken to our rooms. We then change into a kimono and have our feet cleaned and a steam for 15 min. Then time for a scrub which was very nice. The next step was meant to be a body wrap what I got was a body mask. Those of you who do spas know this us very different to a wrap so be aware they do not do wraps here but call a mask a wrap. Then a shower and a massage. So we were done in 2 hours. Unfortunately I was not very happy with this. Now the massage room back onto a lane way used by the locals which can be very noisey which it was when I was there. Now I do not blame them at all for this but I did blame the staff that sat in the room next to mine and talk loudly for most of the 2 hours I was there even after being asked to be quiet. I did rise all my issues with the receptionist who offered a mani and pedi to make up for the missing 1/2 hour of my package.

This package was $98 used expensive for a massage but if I had got what was described I would of though great value.

Would I go back no. Did they try to fix yes
